A Rocklin medical test kit manufacturer will permanently close its doors, costing 68 jobs early next year, according to a state filing posted Friday.

Cell Marque Corp. filed the required workforce reduction notice with the state Employment Development Department. The layoff list at the facility on Sierra College Boulevard includes 13 scientists.

The company manufactures medical testing kits used widely in medical diagnostics, especially biopsies that can detect cancer.

The layoff notice said the plant closure will play out over the first nine months of 2026, starting in February and ending on in early September.

A company representative referred questions to its communications team, which has not provided comment.
