Artist Tour and Talk at the Atelier: Living with Art, Betsy Gill

SECOND SATURDAY – THE ATELIER SACRAMENTO, CA HOSTS ARTIST TOUR + TALK OF LIVING WITH ART, by Betsy Gill.
Living with Art by Betsy Gill has been extended until Jul 18, 2026. This Second Saturday, July 11th, at 6:30pm, Gill will host a Tour and Talk of her debut solo exhibition in California. Betsy will share what inspires her art, how she makes her unique texture paintings and the meaning behind her Orbriant series.
Don’t miss your last chance to view the exhibition before it closes on July 18th. Gallery Hours are Tuesday – Saturday 10am – 6pm.
About the Exhibition:
Betsy Gill’s Living with Art serves as a visual diary of transition, energy, and reinvention. The exhibition focuses on her latest body of work: the Orbriant series—dynamic, gestural paintings that visually map the movement of energy in the universe from within and without.
In sharp contrast to her large-scale abstract paintings, the exhibition also highlights Gill’s distinct passion for found art. By rescuing discarded, everyday objects and recontextualizing them into unexpected artworks, Gill injects a sense of humor and joy into the gallery and lounge spaces. And if you missed her recent show, Found Orange, at the Yolo Branch Library, it is now on view in her studio.
Gill’s work challenges viewers to slow down and notice how Living with Art affects their everyday lives and spaces. She says, “This show is about celebrating the art that surrounds us every day, whether it’s an expansive energetic force or a forgotten object on the sidewalk.”
