Sacramento Greek Festival

Since 1963, the treasured community event has shared the culture of Greece through live entertainment, dancing and a delicious menu of authentic cuisine and wine.
What started as a small parish afternoon gathering in 1963 has grown into one of the region’s most beloved cultural traditions — the Sacramento Greek Festival — three days of authentic Greek food, wine, live music, dance, and oikogeneia (family). This October 2nd-4th, for the 63rd year, the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church will welcome generations of Sacramentans to the church grounds on Alhambra to embrace the traditions we love.
The Greek Festival kicks off with “Friday Funday” $3 admission on October 2nd from 11am to 3pm.
An important update: this year, the Sacramento Greek Festival will be cashless.
Annunciation food booths, the Pandepoleon, and Festival Souvenirs Booth will only accept credit card, debit card, and contactless payment (Apple pay, Google pay, Samsung pay). The Annunciation Bookstore and all other third-party vendors in “The Agora” may take cash, card, or contactless payment at their discretion.

Greek Dancers will take the stage throughout the weekend. Festival attendees dance the nights away to traditional live Greek music from Mythos Band, and DJ Chris Perris spinning the latest hits from the Greek Islands.
Guests will enjoy indoor and outdoor dining experiences on the spacious church grounds with tents for shade and plenty of seating.
