Are you curious about how to navigate news and information in an age of digital misinformation? \nAbridged is launching its new iteration of News & Brews\, a community news and gathering series\, with a media literacy workshop pegged as the inaugural event. Please join us on Thursday\, July 9\, for an evening of conversation around deciphering AI-generated media and interpreting media messages. \nFeatured guests will include: \nAmari Pollard – Assistant Professor of Journalism at Sacramento State\nMichele S. Foss-Snowden\, Ph.D. – Executive Director for Presidential Communications and Professor in the Department of Communication Studies at Sacramento State \nDoors open at 6 p.m. Both free and paid parking options are available near the cafe.
