DESCRIPTION:Obstacle racing…it’s hip\, happening\, and promotes overall fitness in a fun atmosphere! \nThis September\, obstacle racing comes to Fairytale Town\, serving as a fantastic warmup for October’s Dignity Health Dirty Kid Obstacle Race at the Sacramento Adventure Playground\, or for anyone who simply wants to run over\, through and under Fairytale Town’s iconic play structures. \nGet your phones ready – this is a photo-worthy event! \nRace is for ages 4-15. Ages 4-5 will race over about a quarter mile with about 10 obstacles. Ages 6-15 will race about a half mile over approximately 16 obstacles\, with both races including water wading and bubbles (there is no mud obstacle at this event). Racers will be placed in age groups (“waves”) at 9:00am. \nEach racer will receive a Fairytale Town Family Pass for 4 (includes racer). Additional spectators must purchase admission to Fairytale Town. Fairytale Town Members can use ‘MEM’ discount code for $10 off. Each woman who graduates from the nine-week program can return for services at any point in her life when she needs additional tools\, including paid job training and transitional workforce housing. \nSince 2001\, more than 2\,000 women have graduated from the program with their 4\,000+ children. The Annunciation Bookstore and all other third-party vendors in “The Agora” may take cash\, card\, or contactless payment at their discretion. \nGreek Dancers will take the stage throughout the weekend. DESCRIPTION:You’re invited to a celebration of all things health at Fairytale Town’s Wellness Festival on Saturday\, October 3\, 2026\, from 9 AM to 3 PM! \nThis family-friendly event\, powered by Dignity Health and Western Health Advantage\, will feature health and wellness activities\, fitness fun\, flu shots\, and so much more. \nHere’s what guests can expect: \nMove & Groove Stage: Get your body moving with fun dance classes\, yoga sessions\, live entertainment\, and interactive performances for all ages on our Mother Goose Stage. \nTeddy Bear Clinic: Bring your favorite stuffed friend to the Dignity Health and Western Health Advantage Teddy Bear Clinic! It’s a fun\, stress-free way for kids to meet doctors\, learn about health checkups\, and even get a pretend flu shot for their teddy bear. While the plushies get their checkups\, Walgreens pharmacists will be on site providing real flu shots to both adults and children. Free teddy bears will be available if you do not have one. Please remember to bring your health plan ID to participate! \nActive Adventures Zone: Get moving together through fun obstacle courses\, movement challenges\, and active games that encourage families to build healthy habits through play. \nHealthy Habits Zone: Discover simple\, practical ways to fuel your family with nutritious foods through hands-on activities\, healthy snack ideas\, and interactive nutrition education. \nGrowing Minds Zone: Explore activities that support children’s emotional well being by building mindfulness\, resilience\, self expression\, and healthy ways to manage big feelings. \nThe Wellness Festival is free for all between 9 AM to 11 AM\, with Fairytale Town general admission prices in effect from 11 AM to 3 PM. We have a fresh mix of your favorite local independent record sellers along with new faces coming from out of town and out of state! But you already know how we do. \nWe keep it nice!\nThe CLARA lets us dial in the thermostat and sound system..all for your comfort. We intentionally do not overcrowd the space. Lots of room and time to dig without anybody breathing down your neck. Not to mention\, FREE ONSITE PARKING! \nWe keep it fun!\nNo early bird access. No cost to dig. No greedy elbows to duck. No bitter record hoarders. We’ve got giveaways and all kinds of fun throughout the day. \nWe keep it fresh!\nNo déjà vu. No “same old”. We work hard to balance your favorite sellers with new sellers we know you’ll love. THIS IS IMPORTANT. There’s one thing you’ll never see us doing: posting to look for vendors.
