DESCRIPTION:Mark your calendar for Trunk or Treat 2026! \nOn October 24\, 2026\, from 10 to 2\, we will welcome everyone into the museum for some spooky fun! There will be a trunk-or-treat trail throughout the museum\, a haunted house\, a hearse display\, themed activities\, and treats from local businesses and organizations! It’s all free with paid museum admission\, which is at a special reduced rate of $6 each for everyone aged 6 and up – those ages 0-5 are free! Preregistration is not required; tickets can be bought at the front desk on the day of the event. \nWe want to see your Halloween costume for this year\, and bring your own candy bucket – you’ll get all you can eat. We can’t wait to see everyone!

To dig deeper into the history and culture of the local Japanese American community\, head to the 1883 Clarksburg Schoolhouse. \nIts ongoing exhibit\, “Roots and Resilience: The Japanese Farm Families of Clarksburg\,” features a wealth of archival materials from the early and mid-20th century that depict this immigrant community through its challenges and triumphs.
