Their unmistakable harmonies\, extraordinary musicianship\, and commitment to ensemble singing have carried them from concert halls and jazz festivals worldwide to collaborations with some of the most celebrated artists and ensembles in music. \nNow\, as New York Voices brings this remarkable musical journey to a close\, Sacramento City College welcomes the internationally acclaimed ensemble for The Grand Finale\, a rare Sacramento appearance on their farewell tour. But their visit to SCC is about more than one evening on stage. \nThroughout the day\, members of New York Voices will work with students in a special residency devoted to vocal jazz\, musicianship\, artistry\, and the next generation of music makers. That evening\, the doors of the Performing Arts Center will open to our college and our community for an unforgettable celebration of a group whose influence has reached singers\, educators\, and audiences around the world. \nOne remarkable ensemble.\nOne final chapter.\nOne extraordinary night in Sacramento.
