What she doesn’t expect is the ghost of Captain Daniel Smithfield—a charming 19th-century spirit whose past may be more tangled with the house than even he may realize.​As buried secrets rise to the surface and the walls of Smithfield House begin to reveal their history\, Macy finds herself caught between past and present\, logic and belief\, and a growing connection that defies time itself.
