Local artists work on projects during the tour\, engaging visitors in conversation about their creative process. A beloved tradition is the search for “Nutmeg” the squirrel — a stuffed squirrel hidden in each garden. Guests who find Nutmeg receive a stamp on their card and may submit it for a chance to win a prize. \nAll proceeds go to support six philanthropic programs in El Dorado County.
