SUMMARY:Summer Concerts at Starfield Vineyards
DESCRIPTION:Tickets still available for:\nJuly 10: Hot Buttered Rum\nJuly 17: Jax Hammer\nAugust 14: Acusta Gruve\nSTARFIELD VINEYARDS OFFERS SUMMER CONCERT SERIES\nApple Hill concert series returns\nPlacerville\, California\, summer 2026 — Starfield Vineyards’ Apple Hill concert series is back\, with 5 unforgettable nights of live music at the winery’s outdoor amphitheater in the El Dorado foothills. Sip delicious estate wines\, soak in the vineyard views\, and let the music carry you into the warmth of a California summer evening. Tickets must be purchased in advance.\nEach show is a celebration of great tunes\, good company\, and everything that makes Apple Hill special. Whether you’re a first-time visitor or a returning fan\, there’s nothing quite like live music under an open sky at Starfield.\nThe Friday July 24 concert with Petty Jack Flash and the Friday August 28 Live Beatles Experience concert are sold out.\nFriday July 10\, Hot Buttered Rum: $35.00/non-members\, $25.00/winery club members.\nFriday July 17\, Jax Hammer: $25/non-members\, $15.00/winery club members\nFriday August 14: AcustaGruve: $25/non-members\, $15/winery club members.\nGates open at 5:30 PM\, giving you a full hour to settle in\, explore the range of wines in the tasting room\, and find your spot on the lawn before the first note hits at 6:30 PM. Bring a blanket or low-back chairs and make yourself at home. Music runs until 9:30 PM. Off site alcohol is not permitted. Check in at The Rose Arbor: tickets are verified electronically\, no printed versions are necessary. Bring a valid ID. This is a strictly 21-and-over event: no exceptions for children\, infants or anyone under 21.\nExplore the full menu from the winery’s new Pizza Kitchen. Order at the Amphitheater bar and we will deliver your order. Guests are also welcome to bring their own food and picnic items.\nThis summer the winery introduced its Pizza alla Pala program\, under the guidance of chef Scott Tomblin. Pizza alla Pala is baked in long rectangular sheets\, cut to order\, and served on wooden boards. Chef Scott Tomblin uses two flours — one from California and the other imported from Italy — both organically grown at the source — blended and slow-fermented for 48 hours to develop complex flavors. Pizza alla Pala is served seven days a week from 11 am to 5 pm.\nPerched in the El Dorado AVA in the Sierra Foothills\, the winery was founded in 2012 by father and son duo Tom and Rob Sinton. They planted 31 acres of grapes on the property’s hillsides east of Placerville\, consisting of 17 varieties in twenty-four blocks of roughly 1.5 acres each. The vineyards are sustainably farmed\, and regenerative agriculture was begun in 2016.\nStarfield Vineyards’ tasting room is set on a high hill overlooking the vineyards\, gardens\, forests and steep slopes of the Sierra Foothills\, offering 360° mountain views. A visit to the winery is not complete without a walk through The Gardens\, which extend over ten acres of forest\, woodland\, and ponds. There are over three miles of paved paths and roads\, bordered by a wide variety of flowers\, climbers\, and shrubs\, and shaded by pine\, cedar\, and fir forest\, oak woodland\, and a wide range of maples\, scarlet oaks\, aspen\, alders\, ginkgos\, tupelos\, and many other trees. Outside the tasting room is The Rose Arbor\, covered by hundreds of Iceberg and Sally Holmes climbing roses\, which produce dazzling sprays of white flowers year-round.\nThe winery is located at 2750 Jacquier Road in Placerville (95667) and is open seven days a week from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. More at 530/748-3085 and https://www.starfieldvineyards.com/\nThe winery produces a range of proprietary and varietally labeled wines as well as sparkling wines\, low-alcohol wines and sweet vermouths.\n# # #
