Walk the array of cakes of all flavors and styles and fill your box with slices of delight! \nAll proceeds will support the local chapter of Les Dames d’Escoffier International & its mission of advancing women in the fields of food\, agriculture\, fine beverage\, and hospitality through education\, mentorship and philanthropy. \nInspired by the wildly popular Cake Picnic events that have captivated dessert lovers across the country\, the Capital Cake Swap will bring together 250 cake enthusiasts for an afternoon celebrating creativity\, community\, and\, of course\, cake. \nHere’s how it works: Each ticket holder brings a cake—either homemade or purchased—to share. After admiring the impressive display of cakes\, participants will fill a take-home box with their favorite selections. The event promises a festive atmosphere where bakers and cake\nlovers alike can connect over a shared love of dessert. \nCapital Cake Swap is more than just an afternoon of cake—it’s an opportunity to bring our community together to celebrate baking\, creativity\, and the people who make Sacramento’s food scene so special\,” said Jami Babcock\, a member of Les Dames d’Escoffier Sacramento and lead organizer of the event. \nWhether someone bakes an elaborate showpiece or picks up a favorite cake from a local bakery\, everyone will leave with a wonderful assortment of cake while helping support the next generation of women in food\, beverage\, agriculture\, and hospitality. Les Dames d’Escoffier International is a worldwide organization of women leaders dedicated to supporting the next generation of professionals through scholarships\, grants\, mentoring\, and community engagement.
