DESCRIPTION:Come join the Davis Humanities Institute for a conversation with UC Davis humanities and arts faculty about their ongoing projects. \nThe Davis Humanities Institute (DHI) fosters research and collaborations within and beyond the humanities and arts\, empowering scholars\, students\, and communities to engage with the most pressing global and local challenges. \nEach year\, the Davis Humanities Institute supports a cohort of Faculty Research Fellows whose work exemplifies the unique perspectives that the arts\, humanities\, and social sciences can bring\, allowing us to understand our past\, grapple with our present\, and imagine our future. And now\, for the first time\, we’re peeling back the curtain! \nPlease join the DHI and International House on May 27th for our inaugural Faculty Research Showcase–an informal conversation with this year’s cohort of Fellows about their projects\, their process\, and what it takes to conduct rigorous\, relevant\, and generative humanistic scholarship today. ***Registration Required.***
