The Davis Humanities Institute (DHI) fosters research and collaborations within and beyond the humanities and arts, empowering scholars, students, and communities to engage with the most pressing global and local challenges.

Each year, the Davis Humanities Institute supports a cohort of Faculty Research Fellows whose work exemplifies the unique perspectives that the arts, humanities, and social sciences can bring, allowing us to understand our past, grapple with our present, and imagine our future. And now, for the first time, we’re peeling back the curtain!
