The event is sponsored by the Mary L. Stephens-Davis Branch Library. CalMatters is joined by Abridged by PBS KVIE and Yolo Local, an initiative of Davis Media Access.

The Abridged version:

  • Join CalMatters, Abridged by PBS KVIE’s Yolo County reporter and Davis Media Access’ executive director on May 22 for a free event.
  • CalMatters will break down, analyze and answer your burning questions about this year’s primary election, in a conversation centered around the latest edition of their Voter Guide.
  • The local iteration of this event is sponsored by the Mary L. Stephens-Davis Branch Library, where you’ll find us at 6 p.m. in the Blanchard Room.

Do you have questions about California elections? Do you wonder where the governor candidates stand on issues like homelessness and mental health? Want to know what an insurance commissioner does?

Please join us on May 22 when we’ll welcome the nonprofit statewide publication CalMatters as they break down, analyze and answer your burning questions about this year’s primary election, in a conversation centered around the latest edition of their Voter Guide.

Featured guests include Abridged by PBS KVIE’s Yolo County reporter Daniel Hennessy and Executive Director of Davis Media Access Autumn Labbe-Renault.

The local iteration of this event is sponsored by the Mary L. Stephens-Davis Branch Library.

  • Doors open at 5:30 p.m.
  • Introduction, trivia, local partners speak, main portion to discuss issues, closing
  • Tickets are free, but seating is limited
  • The event will be held from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. on Friday, May 22, inside the Blanchard Room at the Mary L. Stephens-Davis Branch Library.
  • Food will be provided by CalMatters

This is a free event, but RSVPs are encouraged.
